About First Freedom Art Company
In late 2022, First Freedom Art Company purchased the private art collection of Arnold Friberg, R.S.A. The collection includes over two hundred individual works of art, including the beloved The Prayer at Valley Forge, that currently hangs in Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C.
It is our privilege and honor to steward over two hundred individual pieces of art, many of which have never been seen in public. Our steadfast desire is for this gallery to virtually connect art lovers around the world with Friberg’s amazing storytelling talent.
Elizabeth Carlyle
CEO
Elizabeth Carlyle, J.D. is a graduate of Baylor University and Baylor Law School. Elizabeth has an entrepreneurial spirit and has focused a significant portion of her career on strategic business growth. After a successful career in private practice, Elizabeth served as General Counsel for Second Baptist Church and Second Baptist School for over a decade. Elizabeth then became Vice President and General Counsel of Vision Source, an optometry franchise of over 3,000 optometry practices, and was a member of the Strategic Leadership Team. Elizabeth gained operational experience as the Chief Operating Officer for The Brookwood Community. As COO, Elizabeth managed multiple departments and was responsible for driving operating revenue through both ecommerce and brick-and-mortar retail sales. In recognition of her operational acumen, management style, and creative marketing efforts at Brookwood, Elizabeth was named as a 2020 Houston Woman Who Means Business by the Houston Business Journal.
Kim Cooper
COO
Kim Cooper, J.D. graduated from the University of Texas and the University of Houston Law School. Kim had a lengthy and successful legal career, thanks in large measure to her passion and propensity for organization and administration. Upon graduation from law school, Kim managed a civil defense practice group for one of the senior law partners at Phillips & Akers, P.C. Kim created processes and procedures as a team manager that grew the litigation practice in size and scope while developing and mentoring younger attorneys. In 2000, Kim was a founding partner at McKinney & Cooper, LLP, and in 2019, she was a founding principal at McKinney Taylor P.C. She represented some of the top insurance companies in the country during her thirty-year law practice and oversaw the development of coverage and appellate sections at each law firm.
